Ses branches partent du tronc et se d\u00e9ploient horizontalement. Ses feuilles sont des aiguilles persistantes. Le bois de c\u00e8dre est quasi indestructible et tr\u00e8s odorif\u00e9rant. Le c\u00e8dre sert dans les constructions (poutres, portes, lambris\u2026) mais aussi dans des navires, des meubles, des sarcophages. Le plafond \u00e0 caissons du Temple est fait en c\u00e8dre (1R 6,9). Il est beau et solide.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la Bible, le c\u00e8dre est symbole d\u2019orgueil tout comme le ch\u00eane au niveau des plantes ou le lion, le cheval et le taureau au niveau des animaux.<\/p>\n<p>On parle des \u00ab\u00a0c\u00e8dres du Liban\u00a0\u00bb. Il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 juste \u00e0 gauche de J\u00e9sus, un peu comme pour dire il faut choisir.
