Une interpr\u00e9tation de ce dessin pourrait signifier que le service de la papaut\u00e9 n\u2019est pas quelque chose qu\u2019on peut pr\u00e9voir ou devancer. Dire \u00ab\u00a0si j\u2019\u00e9tais pape, je\u2026\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9quivaudrait \u00e0 dire \u00ab\u00a0JE d\u00e9cide\u00a0\u00bb alors que la premi\u00e8re mission du pape (comme de la mienne) est d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute de Dieu. Il le saisit par les bretelles parce qu\u2019elles sont \u00e9lastiques \u2013\u00e9videmment, \u00e7a n\u2019existait pas \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque de J\u00e9sus-. Les deux sont n\u00e9cessaires, mais \u00e0 moi de discerner quand est-ce que l\u2019audace ou la prudence prennent le dessus et deviennent pr\u00e9texte.
