Le culte des anciens utilisait beaucoup les parfums comme symbole d\u2019offrande.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Isra\u00ebl a repris cette coutume. Dans le Temple, il y avait un autel des parfums (Ex 30,1-10), des encensoirs (1 R 7,50) et des coupes \u00e0 encens (Nb 7,86).<\/span> <\/p>\n

Chaque matin et chaque soir \u00e9tait accompli un sacrifice de parfum, en adoration joyeuse (Ex 30,7).<\/span> <\/p>\n

L\u2019encens qui monte en fum\u00e9e d\u00e9signe notre louange qui monte vers Dieu.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Faire br\u00fbler de l\u2019encens, c\u2019est adorer.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Il n\u2019y a qu\u2019un seul culte, c\u2019est celui adress\u00e9 \u00e0 Dieu (la Bible r\u00e9primande ceux qui font br\u00fbler de l\u2019encens \u00e0 des idoles, des objets\u2026).<\/span> <\/p>\n

Le culte parfait est celui du Chris J\u00e9sus qui \u00ab s\u2019est offert \u00e0 Dieu en sacrifice d\u2019agr\u00e9able odeur \u00bb (Ep 5,2). Ca veut dire que sa vie s\u2019est consum\u00e9e en offrande d\u2019amour, agr\u00e9able \u00e0 Dieu.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Le chr\u00e9tien, \u00e0 son tour, par son bapt\u00eame, re\u00e7oit l\u2019onction (l\u2019huile sainte, le \u00ab saint chr\u00eame \u00bb pour r\u00e9pandre autour de lui la bonne odeur du Christ (2 Co 2,14-17). Ainsi, la plus petite de ses actions devient offrande \u00e0 Dieu.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Quand l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9phant offre l\u2019encens \u00e0 J\u00e9sus, il reconna\u00eet que cet enfant, c\u2019est Dieu.<\/span> <\/p>\n
